Eagle Scouts,

There is a unique opportunity to earn a scholarship dedicated to Scouts who live in Cobb County, or are registered with a Cobb County based Scouting unit, have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and have enrolled in or applied to an institution to further your education.  If that describes you, please read the application requirements included below.  Deadline is May 1, 2025.  Don't delay!

Eligibility Requirements

1. Eagle Scout Rank Recipient

2. Cobb County Resident Or Registered Member of a Cobb County-based Troop/Venture Crew at the time of Eagle Scout Rank Achievement

3. Enrolled in/Applied for College/University/Community College/Trade School

Application Requirements

1. Completed Application Form

2. Provide a typewritten Essay (500 words, min) on one of the 12 points of the Scout Law - the applicant may choose his/her preference.

3. Letter of Recommendation from Scoutmaster/Senior Advisor, Committee Chair, or Chartered Organization Representative

A $1000 Scholarship Award will be made on May 24th, 2025, at the Marietta National Cemetery during the Flag Placement Ceremony.
